Pavilion ~ Linda J. Mott, age 72, of Lake Road, passed away Friday evening (May 1, 2015) at home after a lengthy illness in the loving presence of her family. Mrs. Mott was born June 30, 1942 in Lackawanna, N.Y., a daughter of the late James and Helen Mansfield Karr. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and to her church. She was a member of the Pavilion First Baptist Church, where she played piano and organ. She enjoyed reading, singing and cooking for her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Eugene F. Mott; her children, Rebecca (Lorne) Green of Wyoming, Jonathan (Kelly) Mott of Batavia, James Mott of Batavia, Amanda Blakeslee of Pavilion and Allison (Timothy) Crawford of Batavia; 20 grandchildren; her siblings, Janet (Mark) Palmer of Macomb, MI, Deborah (Gary) Goyette of Henrietta, James Karr of Rochester, David (Anna) Karr of Henrietta, Jeffrey (Linda) Karr of Parrish, FL, Thomas (Allison) Karr of Syracuse and Timothy Karr of Macomb, MI, along with several nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her mother and father in law, Raymond and Evelyn Mott. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 ~ 4 and 7 ~ 9 at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Pavilion First Baptist Church. Interment in Stafford Rural Cemetery will be private. The courtesy of No Flowers is requested with memorials suggested to either Genesee Cancer Assistance, Inc. or the Pavilion First Baptist Church.
